GUJRAT: In an inhumane act, a couple of landlords accused a labourer of committing theft and as punishment, hanged him upside down from a tree. The labourer was also subjected to assault by the suspects.
According to details, the incident took place in Gujrat's village Ladha. Four landlords alleged that a worker named Zahid had committed theft and as punishment, hanged him upside down from a tree, subjecting him to assault. The landlords also recorded a video clip of beating the poor labourer.
Police took into custody all four landlords who were involved in the act and registered a case against them. The names of the suspects who have been arrested in connection with beating the Zahid are Allah Dutta, Ahsaan Ahmad, Muhammad Shahid and Ghulam Rasool.
