QUETTA: At least four passengers died and 13 others sustained injuries in two successive explosions on a railway track in Machh area of district Bolan, Balochistan.
According to details, Jaffar Express was en route to Rawalpindi from Quetta when it struck by explosions near Machh area.
The first first bomb, likely to be an improvised explosive device (IED), exploded underneath the locomotive of the train while the other hit the third bogie. As a result four passengers died and 13 wounded, Levies and hospital sources said.
The dead and injured have been rushed to Civil Hospital Machh.
Security forces have cordoned off the area following the explosions.
