ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali has ordered formation of a judicial commission for investigations into Civil Hospital Quetta incident.
The CJP was hearing Quetta blast suo moto case during which lawyers and bar associations requested him to constitute a judicial commission under a supreme court judge for thorough investigations into the carnage.
The commission headed by Justice Qazi Faiz Esa of the SC would submit report within one month.
The hearing has been adjourned till the submission of report by the commission.
Earlier, the CJ remarked that the bench has been informed of the progress made in the investigations, which is encouraging.
