ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has handed over the evidence of Indian involvement and funding of terrorist elements in Pakistan to the United Nations, Foreign Office said Thursday.
In his weekly briefing, Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakariya said, “The dossier handed over to the United Nations contains proof of financing the terrorist elements in Pakistan by India.”
The spokesman said, “India has always violated at Line of Control and ceasefire accord.” “Pakistan had never violated at the LoC.”
“All political parties are united on the issue of Kashmir,” he said and urged the world community to take notice of human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir.
The spokesman called upon the international community to send its fact-finding mission to occupied Kashmir.
“Assessment by military observation group is very vital,” he maintained.
“Irresponsible statements from India are harmful for peace in the region. Pakistan had summoned Indian High Commission to Islamabad and raised, besides others, the issue of ‘surgical strike’ claims by New Delhi,” the spokesman added.
Commenting on Indus Waters Treaty, Nafees Zakariya stressed that International community should also take notice of Indian reaction over it.
Over the Afghan issue, the spokesman reiterated that peace in Afghanistan is important for Pakistan.
