PESHAWAR: A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted federal capital Islamabad, Peshawar, Skardu and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday.
The Met office of Pakistan has recorded magnitude of the tremors at 5.5 on the Richter scale.
US Geological Survey has also confirmed the tremors at the depth of 43.4 km and its epicenter was 117 km east of the Swat Valley city of Mingaora.
The loss of life and property has not been ascertained yet.
