LAHORE: Indian authorities on Friday blocked the Friendship Bus Service to Lahore after escalations at Line of Control (LoC).
The Friendship Bus runs between Lahore and Amritsar under international agreement every Tuesday and Friday.
Pakistan allowed the bus to leave from Lahore as per schedule. However, Indian authorities did not allow it from their side, Pakistan officials said.
Indian officials in a telephonic message to Pakistani officials said, situation in Pakistan is not feasible, hence the bus was not allowed to leave Amritsar.
India on Thursday also did not allow its citizens to attend flag lowering ceremony at Wagah border.
On the other hand, people from Pakistani side were present in the stadium for the ceremony and witnessed the parade as well.
