NEW DEHLI: US National Security Advisor Susan E. Rice spoke today with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and condemned the Uri attack.
According to the statement issued by the White House after the talks, Ambassador Rice strongly condemned the September 18 attack on the Indian Army Brigade headquarters in Uri and offered condolences to the victims and their families.
‘Ambassador Rice affirmed President Obama’s commitment to redouble our efforts to bring to justice the perpetrators of terrorism throughout the world.’
“Ambassador reiterated our expectation that Pakistan take effective action to combat UN-designated terrorist entities, including LeT, JeM, and affiliates,” it added.
