ISLAMABAD: Indian High Commission in Islamabad has dismissed reports of reducing or pulling out mission’s staff from Pakistan.
Speaking to Geo News, Spokesman for the Indian High Commission said, “the situation has not reached a level to pull out embassy staff from Pakistan.”
The spokesman said, “Neither we have received any directives from New Delhi nor this matter is under consideration.”
Earlier, India in the backdrop of growing tension between two neighbours after Uri attack announced on Tuesday that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi some other members of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) will boycott its 19th summit to be held in Islamabad in November.
India had been accusing Pakistan of Uri attack that left 18 Indian soldiers dead in the valley.
India has also threatened to isolate Pakistan globally and expressed his desire to suspend the Indus Water Treaty as well.
