ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Tuesday unanimously adopted a resolution, condemning Indian aggression and human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir.
The resolution was presented in the National Assembly by Pakistan People’s Party leader Naveed Qamar and was supported by the government.
The resolution states that Kashmir is a disputed area between Pakistan and India, while Baluchistan is an internal matter of Pakistan.
This House fully condemns the statement of Indian PM Narendra Modi on Indus Water Treaty and of Indian External Affairs Minister at the UN General Assembly that Kashmir is an integral part of India, the resolution read.
It stated that Modi government has been threatening Pakistan but Pakistan will not stop supporting Kashmiri people because of these threats.
Dialogue is the only solution to settle all the disputes and not aggression, Pakistan is in favour of maintaining good relations among its neighbors, resolution maintained.
