CHARSADDA: Nine persons including three policemen were wounded when a police van was hit by remote- controlled bomb at Sarokalai area of district Charsadda on Monday morning.
According to the media reports, the policemen were providing security to a polio team when the police van was hit by bomb and a passenger bus has also been damaged in the attack.
The injured persons have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
A nationwide campaign against polio disease begins in the country on Monday, 26 September.
