CHAMAN: Thousands of tribal people, belonging to Pashtun tribes, staged massive rally in Chaman against provocative statements and threats by Indian officials.
The protesters raised slogans against Indian government and PM Narendra Modi.
The rally led by tribal elders started from DC Complex and terminated at Chaman Press Club.
The participants of the rally were carrying banners and placards inscribed with anti-India slogans.
They also staged sit-in at Quetta-Chaman road and suspended the vehicular traffic.
Addressing the protesters, the tribal elders said Pashtuns tribes stand by Pakistan Army in case of any aggression by India.
The protesters also chanted ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans.
