LAHORE: Calling Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri a proven liar, MD of Sharif Group of Industries on Friday said no foreigner was employed by the group.
“No Indian is working for our mills,” said Yousuf Abbas Sharif, adding that more than 1100 people have been working for the mill established in 1992. “All the employees are Pakistani nationals; none of them is a foreigner”.
He said the group was sending a defamation notice to Tahirul Qadri, who accused the ruling family of hiring Indians for its mills.
“Ramzan and Chaudhry sugar mills are our respectable members. All the allegations against sugar mill owners are based on lies and dishonesty,” said a spokesman for Sugar Mills Association.
