LAHORE: Authorities closed down the railway station in the Old City owing to security concerns, late on Thursday night.
According to details provided by railway sources, all lights of the Lahore railways station were shut off and the station was also closed down, as police conducted a search operation in the area. The railway station's parking was also closed and no cars were allowed to park in the vicinity.
Police officials also checked the entrance gates of the railway station for any suspicious activity or suspicious persons.
However, all platforms of the railway station were later opened except for platform number 2.
