Dozens of KP Cadet College students hospitalized with food poisoning

PESHAWAR: Dozens of students from a cadet college were hospitalized on Sunday after they suffered food poisoning in Swabi.
According to provincial Health Minister Shehram Tarakai over 100 students of Colonel Sher Khan Cadet College were affected due to food poisoning, who were being shifted to Combined Military Hospital in Peshawar and Mardan Medical Complex.

At least 27 were moved to Mardan Medical Complex. Cause of the food poisoning was not immediately known.
The minister said ambulances were called in from Nowshera and Mardan while teams of doctors were also dispatched to the college to cope with the situation.
