GHOTKI: Police claimed to have arrested 125 dacoits including eight proclaimed offenders over the past one week in Ghotki.
DIG Sukkur Feroz Shah, addressing a press conference in Mirpur Mathelo here Wednesday, said the these dacoits were arrested during different actions and heavy weapons including four anti-aircraft guns, and 32 Kalashnikovs, 50 pistols, two rocket launchers and 5000 bullets were recovered from their possession.
The police office disclosed that police will soon launch operation against dacoits in Khairpur and Shikarpur as well.
