ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has invited Pakistan People’s Party to participate in ‘Pakistan March’ on September 03 in Lahore.
Qureshi invited PPP during a meeting with leader of opposition in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah and Aitzaz Ahsan on Tuesday.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Khursheed Shah and Aitzaz Ahsan also discussed Panama Papers issue in detail.
The PPP leaders said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will decide about participation in PTI rally. The leaders said Bilawal will be informed about PTI’s invitation.
Speaking on the occasion, Aitzaz Ahsan said the Panama Leaks probe must begin from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family.
He said the people and political parties of Pakistan including PPP and PTI wanted a free and fair investigation into the Panamagate scandal.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said PTI believed that the ToRs (terms of references) Committee failed to produce results due to the federal government’s negligence and stubbornness.
“ToRs committee is a dead horse, there is no need of it anymore,” Qureshi said.
