ISLAMABAD: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah met federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday to discuss the National Finance Commission award.
Speaking to media personnel in Islamabad, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar stated that with regard to the National Finance Commission award, all provinces had done their related work. He said that with regard to the NFC award, a meeting will be called on September 5 in Lahore.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah spoke briefly to media and stated that the federal government believed the NFC award should be finalized as soon as possible. He said that the federal government had stated that it would try to finalized the National Finance Commission award by December 31st.
Syed Murad Ali Shah had also held a meeting with the federal Minister for Water and Power, Khawaja Asif, where both had discussed load shedding in interior Sindh and the payment of arrears issue.
