KARACHI: Many areas of Karachi received rain on Saturday and gusty winds blew in the port city turning the weather pleasant.
Malir, Landhi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, University Road and Shahrah-e-Faisal received heavy rain.
Rain also gripped parts of New Karachi, North Karachi and North Nazimabad.
The Met Department had forecast thunderstorms in Karachi over the weekend.
The department stated that heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Kashmir and in areas of FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan.
