Google to visit Pakistani universities from August 30
KARACHI: For the first time, the World's largest tech company ‘Google’ will visit Pakistani universities to encourage students interested in designing and web development.
Google representative will visit different universities in Pakistan during their eleven days visit.
Google has also released their schedule, according to which the visits will commence on 30th August from Institute of Business Administration (IoBM) which will end on 9th September at University of Engineering and Technology Lahore (UET).
Google will visit different universities including NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in Islamabad, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, LUMS and UET in Lahore, University of Gujrat, University of Central Punjab.
According to Google representatives, the purpose of the visit is to help students at these universities make money through apps and websites and to encourage small developers, designers and bloggers. During the visits Google will also introduce apps like Google AdSense and Google AdMob.
This initiative of Google would be a great opportunity for new web developers who want to start their career in web designing and web development.
