KARACHI: One soldier was shot dead in Karachi after he tried to stop two robbers from looting civilians, on Thursday.
According to details, the shooting incident took place near Karachi's Lucky Star area. Two alleged robbers were looting two brothers named Mahesh Kumar and Poon Kumar, who were inside a rickshaw, when the soldier tried to stop the robbers. Clad in plain clothes, the soldier was shot by the two robbers due to which he was martyred on the spot.
The name of the martyred soldier was Amjad. The two brothers were also injured in the shooting incident. One of the robbers was caught by the police.
