KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies arrested two women in a late night raid conducted at Lines Area on Wednesday.
According to the officials, the arrested women were involved in August 22 attack on a private news channel’s office and were identified with the help of CCTV camera footage.
The suspected women were said to be associated with a political party.
Moreover, Rangers and police continued to seal offices of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in different areas.
Law enforcers sealed party offices in Pak Colony, Federal B Area, North Karachi and Nazimabad Block A, on Wednesday night.
Earlier, MQM offices including party headquarters Nine Zero were sealed and party senior leaders were taken into custody after Altaf Hussain delivered an inflammatory speech to his party workers, instigating attacks on private TV channels.
