CHINIOT: Law enforcement agencies and police conducted a search operation in different areas of Chiniot and arrested around fourteen suspects on Tuesday.
According to police, joint operations were conducted in various areas of Ghafoorabad, Dil Khushab and Ahmad pora to search for suspicious persons.
During the operation, more than 100 people were being properly checked via biometric device and their national Identity cards were also checked. Voice checking was also conducted to properly verify the suspects that were being checked.
Fourteen suspects were taken into custody and shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
Authorities have been conducting search and combing operations across Punjab to hunt for suspects linked to terrorism.
