KARACHI: Sindh Rangers have issued number of target killers arrested during targeted operation in different parts of Karachi since 2013.
According to spokesman for the paramilitary force, a total of 848 hitmen involved in 7224 incidents of target killings were apprehended from different areas since 2013, of them 654 are affiliated to MQM militant wing, 95 affiliated to Lyari gang-war and other militant wings and 99 belong to banned outfits. They have confessed to target killings of 5863, 804 and 557 persons respectively.
Separately, the spokesman also said the operation launched on Monday following unrest in Karachi is underway. He appealed the general public to help identify the miscreants involved in attack on private TV channel.
