KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah held a meeting on Tuesday with Karachi Corps Commander Lt. General Naveed Mukhtar to discuss the security of the city.
The two discussed yesterday's events, increasing security for media houses and arrests of several persons during their meeting.
CM Murad Ali Shah also called IG Police and directed him to make every possible effort to maintain peace in Karachi. He also directed him to provide security to all the candidates of KMC’s mayor and deputy mayor elections on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah directed Inspector General (IG) Police to increase patrolling in Karachi for the forthcoming elections.
