No option but to dissociate ourselves from Altaf: Barrister Saif
KARACHI: MQM's Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said on Tuesday that there was no other option but to disassociate from party chief Altaf Hussian.
According to details, barrister Muhammad Saif, who used to be a close aide of former Pakistani president and army chief General (r) Pervez Musharraf, said that there was no other option for them but to disassociate themselves from MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
Meanwhile, barrister Farogh Naseem said that they were sons of those who had created Pakistan and that their ancestors had given invaluable sacrifices for the creation of the country. He said that they would ensure that no harm comes to the country's security, peace and progress.
These remarks came from Saif after MQM chief Altaf Hussain made derogatory remarks about Pakistan and instigated his supporters to attack the offices of news channels ARY News, Geo News and Samaa TV.
Following the attacks, MQM leaders and workers were arrested from all over Karachi as the party's offices, including headquarters Nine Zero, were also sealed. MQM leaders Farooq Sattar and Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, who are expected to conduct a press conference soon, were also picked up by Rangers on Monday night from the Karachi Press Club.
