KARACHI: The personnel of Sindh Rangers took Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) senior leader Farooq Sattar and opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izharul Hassan in custody from outside Karachi Press Club.
Farooq Satttar, Khawaja Izhar and other MQM office-bearers arrived at Karachi Press Club for a press conference after MQM workers turned to violence after being told by their party chief to surround the offices of media houses.
Video clip from the moment shows the MQM senior leader asking the official for two minutes, but the Rangers officials insist and take him away.
Sources said Farooq Sattar and Khawaja Izhar were shifted to Rangers headquarters.
