Tahir-ul-Qadri urges masses to join Qasas movement

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri urged the masses to join his Qasas movement in order to purge corruption from the country. 

Addressing his supporters, Qadri urged students, doctors, professors, the women and old people to join his protest movement against the federal government. He said that his movement had given strength to people to come out against the unjust rulers. 

"The public should come out onto the streets and grab the collars of our rulers," he said. "Qasas movement is the key to ending corruption in the country," he said. 

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that workers of Pakistan Awami Tehrik had given sacrifices in the past and were still doing the same. He said that it was his agenda to change the unjust system in the country. He said that if the 'Qasas' for the Model Town killings was held, then terrorism would be wiped out from the country. 

"Our movement is to expose the elements who are enemies of the state," he said. "We want governance according to the law of Pakistan in the real sense," he said. 

Qadri also reminded the masses that there was no use crying about the problem of load-shedding from inside one's home.
