SUKKUR: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah on Saturday made a surprise visit to Sukkur Civil Hospital.
Shah directed to shut down all the private medical stores outside the hospital and provision of medicines to the patients inside the facility.
On his visit, he inspected record of free medicines at the store of the hospital and their expiry date. He directed the administration to provide medicines free of cost to the needy patients.
Khursheed Shah’s visit comes a day after reportedly seven infants died in Civil Hospital Sukkur due to lack of oxygen and negligence of staff.
