ISLAMABAD: Batter late than never, the notification of the upper age limit for Central Superior Services (CSS) Competitive Examination issued on Friday.
In pursuance of Cabinet’s decision, notification regarding upper age limit 28 to 30 for CSS Competitive Examination has been issued by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC).
By the many circles including Senate of Pakistan had recommended increase in the upper age limit of CSS after that the federal cabinet on July 16 approved increase in upper age limit from 28 to 30 years for the candidates of CSS but the notification could not be issued in this regard after passing 30 days.
According to new notification, the age limits for CSS Competitive Examination 2017 onwards would be as under:
For fresh candidates 21 to 30 years.
For the categories specified in Rule 3(ii) of CSS Competitive Examination Rules 2017, 21 to 32 years.
The order was issued by Islamabad's Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah on the request of the FIA
