KARACHI: On behalf of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Shamim Mumtaz has presented a cheque of Rs. 10 million to family of Shaheed Amjad Sabri at his residence here on Tuesday.
On this occasion, Amjad Sabri’s mother, children and younger brother were also present.
Talking to media persons along with brother of Shaheed Amjad Sabri, Shamim Mumtaz said that Amjad Sabri was world renewed Qawal and his voice was matchless.
She said that there is no substitute of human life but the amount provided by the Sindh government would be utilized for the education, health and other expenditures of Shaheed Amjad Sabri’s children.
She added that government of Sindh has fulfilled one of its promises by providing monetary assistance on the directions of CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah.
Shamim Mumtaz government of Sindh will provide job to the wife of Shaheed Amjad Sabri, if she is qualified, otherwise Sabri’s brother would be provided a job because Sabri’s children are underage.
Talking on this occasion, Amjad Sabri’s brother thanked the Sindh government especially Chairman PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPP President, Asif Ali Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah.
He hoped that government of Sindh would also materialize other promises.
