Sirajul Haq to contest Senate polls: sources
ISLAMABAD: The Jamat-e-Islami (JI) on Thursday decided to nominate its own Ameer Siraj ul Haq as a candidate for Senate elections.
According to JI sources, the decision to nominate Siraj ul Haq for the forthcoming Senate polls was taken in the meeting of party's parliamentary board meeting, however, the final official announcement was expected in Islamabad today.

ISLAMABAD: The Jamat-e-Islami (JI) on Thursday decided to nominate its own Ameer Siraj ul Haq as a candidate for Senate elections.

Sources said that Pervez Maseeh would be JI's candidate for minority seat in the Senate, adding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and JI would cooperate with each other in the Senate polls.
