Pakistan determined to complete CPEC projects on time: Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that Pakistan is determined to complete the projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) within the timeframe.
The Minister stated this while meeting with Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong who called on him in Islamabad on Monday.
The duo discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.
Nisar said, “providing foolproof security to Chinese engineers and workers is top priority of the Pakistan government.”
The minister said that bilateral relations between both the countries are guarantee of the sustainable peace in the region.
On the occasion, Chinese Ambassador expressed deep sorrow and grief on the recent Quetta blast.
He said that people and government of China are fully supporting Pakistan in its war against terrorism.
He said, “China is appreciating the efforts of Pakistan to promote peace in the region.”
