PESHAWAR: Farhan Khan clinched the trophy after defeating Yasir Shehzad in the final of the Independence Day Snooker Championship played here at Tey Tey Niak Snooker Club on Sunday.
Former Sports Minister Aqil Shah was the chief guest on this occasion.
President KP Snooker Association Zulfiqar Butt Allauddin members of the executive committee players and officials were also present.
The final was full of thrill as Farhan Khan defeated Yasir Shehzad by 3 2 the score was 55 34 16 72 66 44 70 41 and 52 44. At the Wrestling event organized with the support of Pakistan Sports Board Coaching Center with Director Sports PSB Coaching Center Mumtaz Ahmad Nadeem was the chief guest.
There were stunning contests between the players.
Secretary KP Wrestling Association Ustad Qayyum Shinwari was also present.
Director Sports PSB Coaching Center Mumtaz Ahmad Nadeem gave away trophies and cash prizes.
President FATA Olympic Association Shahid Khan Shinwari was also present on this occasion.
Mumtaz Ahamd Nadeem also lauded the efforts of the KP Wrestling Association for organize the event in connection with the Independence Day Wrestling.
In the Jujitsu event the players beautifully presented a demonstration which was largely enjoyed by the sitting spectators.
Secretary KP Jujitsu Association Tehsil Ullah Khan international referee Shah Faisal President KP Taekwondo Association Ilyas Afridi and large number of spectators were also present.
At the end of the demonstration Syed Aqil Shah distributed trophies certificates and cash prizes among the position holders.
