RAWALPINDI: The security agencies on Saturday arrested 11 suspects including two hardcore terrorists belonging to a banned militant outfit from an area near Lahore in sequel to the ongoing country wide combing operations.
According to ISPR, the security agencies carried out a three-hour long operation in Barkat Market area of Shahdara near Lahore for carrying out arrests of the suspected terrorists besides recovering cache of arms and ammunition.
The combing operation is being carried out by the security agencies of the country on the direction of Chief of the Army Staff.
Intensity of the operation was geared up especially after the terror attacks on Civil Hospital in Quetta whereby killing scores of people besides injuring at least 100 others earlier this month.
