ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned a high-level meeting regarding the implementation on the National Action Plan on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister had stated that terrorists and militants were mistaken. He said that the entire nation was united against terrorism and fully backed all actions and activities that were conducted against them by security forces. PM Nawaz had also said that the sacrifices rendered by the people of Quetta would not go to waste and that the culprits behind the incident would be dealt with strictly.
During the meeting that was held on Tuesday regarding the National Action Plan, Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security Naseer Janjua had briefed the PM about the soft targets used by terrorists. Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, the federal Interior Minister, had also briefed the PM about the National Action Plan and its implementation as well as the future steps that would be taken in that regard.
The Prime Minister had called for a meeting on Wednesday to further discuss the implementation of the National Action Plan. Sources also revealed that the Premier was expected to address the National Assembly also on Wednesday.
