Sandra Bullock recently got candid and teased a third installment of Practical Magic.

For those unaware, the 62-year-old American actress and film producer played the role of Sally Owens alongside Nicole Kidman, Evan Rachel Wood, Stockard Channing, Alexandra Artrip, Aidan Quinn, and others in the original film, which was released in 1998 and was based on Alice Hoffman’s novel of the same name that she published in 1995.

Ahead of the Practical Magic 2 release, Bullock gave an interview to Vanity Fair, where she hinted at another part of the film.

Referring to her onscreen daughters Maisie Williams and Joey King, she said, “We’ll do a number three if this takes off, and we’ll pass the torch to the girls.”

Notably, the follow-up to the original film Practical Magic 2 casts Bullock and Kidman as the witchy Owens sisters while Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing are playing their witchy aunts.

Talking about the forthcoming installment, the Ocean’s 8 star quipped, “If you haven’t seen the first film, it doesn’t matter. But if you did see the first film, there are nostalgic reminders that we’re still in the same place with the same people, and we’re bringing on two more magical baby witches.”

It is pertinent to mention that Practical Magic 2 is scheduled to be released in United States theatres on September 10, 2026.
