Rumours that Prince Harry’s bond with King Charles is now beginning to grow strong has fired up a storm in the Palace, especially in Kensington Palace, the office of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

According to a well-placed source, the issue is more so that Prince William does not trust his younger brother’s motivations or intentions in the reconciliation.

According to Heat they even say, “William is convinced the Sussexes are plotting a permanent path back to Britain” and “are using Charles to regain as many privileges as possible while quietly building alliances with people like the Spencers and the York sisters behind his back.”

Moreover, “from his perspective, it's deeply disrespectful to him and Catherine, particularly when he feels they've never received a proper apology, and he sees it as incredibly dangerous for the monarchy as a whole,” the insider also says.

This anti-Sussex narrative is even posing a risk to Prince William’s future as King Charles’ heir because a separate source has even warned the outlet that life could “become increasingly difficult” for the eldest son even though he cannot be removed from the line of Succession.

To explain the seriousness of it they have said, “[Charles] can start cracking the whip harder, taking away some of the cushier roles and privileges and giving him a lot more work to do. He can also start micro-managing him much more closely and make him a whole lot more accountable than he is now, which would certainly upset William because he does not like being told what to do. And, perhaps worst of all, at least from William’s perspective, is the possibility that the more William digs in over Harry, the more leniency and opportunities Charles could choose to give the Sussexes.”

The opposite is also something that Prince William could throw into motion if he does not adhere to the King’s rumored plans because in ‘punishing’ the heir he could hand “all sorts of perks” or even “total freedom” to Harry. This means their becoming working royals based in America is also a prospect not easily brushed away.

After all at the end of the day “he’s the King of England, so ultimately, he can do what he wants, and William should know that,” which is what the source said before signing off.
