Trump to use nuclear weapons on Iran? Marjorie Taylor Greene says ‘It’s real’

The United States and Iran have been locked in months-long conflict with no possibility of breaking the impasse. In the midst of heightened tensions in the Middle East comes the explosive claims of a former US Congresswoman.

According to Marjorie Taylor Greene’s bombshell claims, the Trump administration is discussing the possibility of using nuclear weapons against Iran in high-level strategy meetings.

Taking to X on Sunday, she wrote, “They are discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran in strategy meetings. Yes you read that correctly. It’s real. I’m not speculating, I know. And it’s pure evil.”

In the post which gathered millions of views, Taylor Greene urged Americans to oppose the use of nuclear weapons while giving the reference of Hiroshima and Nagasaki which brought massive suffering to millions of people.

“And now our government is the one actually discussing lowering the nuclear threshold in order to use nuclear weapons against Iran,” she added.

Greene who previously opposed the US military involvement in Iran also warned the use of nuclear weapons against Iran could spill over into wider global conflict, leading to massive destruction.

“Trump promised no more foreign wars, but may actually be the one who delivers a nuclear holocaust that would likely drag the entire world into major conflict, economic depression, and mass human suffering we’ve never seen in our lifetimes and maybe throughout history.,” she added.

To date, Greene’s assertion lacks independent corroboration. Neither the US government nor any official records have issued statements indicating that Washington is contemplating a nuclear strike option against Iran.

A 60-day deadline for the United States and Iran to reach a comprehensive agreement ending their ongoing conflict has officially expired without a final deal.
