Bruce Willis makes rare appearance at daughter's wedding amid dementia battle
Bruce Willis shares precious moment at daughter Tallulah's wedding
Bruce Willis made a rare public appearance at his daughter Tallulah's wedding, marking one of his first appearances since being diagnosed with dementia a few years ago.
The 71-year-old actor was seen at the wedding celebration in Idaho, where Tallulah married her partner.
In photos shared by Vogue, Willis was shown embracing his daughter and holding hands with his new son-in-law.
In a caption, Tallulah described the moment as a tender part of the wedding weekend.
Willis has largely stayed out of the public eye since his diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia.
Earlier this year, his wife, Emma Heming Willis, shared that Willis is not fully aware of his condition, explaining that this is a common symptom of the disease that affects a person's ability to recognise their own illness.
Tallulah is the youngest of Willis's three daughters from his previous marriage. He also has two younger daughters with Heming Willis, whom he married in 2009.
Heming Willis recently opened up about the emotional challenge of celebrating her own milestone birthday earlier this year, sharing that she has struggled to feel like celebrating due to her husband's health.
She said she often experiences guilt but tries to remind herself that her husband would want her to enjoy life and celebrate with loved ones.
Last year, Heming Willis made the decision to move her husband into a separate home with a full-time care team, explaining that the change was meant to create a more suitable living environment for both her husband and their daughters.
