The world’s first and largest Bitcoin treasury company, Strategy Inc, officially announced today that it has joined the Invest America Business Pledge.

The primary motive behind this commitment is that the company will match the US government's $1,000 seed contributions into Trump's Accounts for newborns of its US employees and provide an additional $250 annually for every eligible child under 18.

This move positions Strategy within an expanding network of employers supporting the federal program designed to give Americans an early start on long-term investment.

It is crucial to note that Trump Accounts, also known as 530A accounts, are tax-advantaged investment vehicles for minors that hold low-fee US equity index funds. Meanwhile, children born between 2025 and 2028 include a one-time $1,000 contribution from the US Treasury upon enrollment.

Strategy will make a one-time contribution matching

The strategy will make a one-time $1,000 contribution matching the government’s seed for children born on or after January 1,2025 under the newly designed plan.

President and Chief Executive Officer of Strategy, Phong Le, underscored the potential impact: “Trump Accounts and the Invest America initiative can help build a stronger financial future for America’s children,”

Strategy will match the government’s initial $1,000 contribution and provide additional annual contributions for eligible employees’ children. We are also impressed by the thoughtful technology making these accounts simple and accessible for families.

These accounts can encourage financial education, long-term thinking, and a culture of saving and investing from an early age. Those goals are closely aligned with Strategy’s values and our optimism about the future, Le continued.”

The program is scheduled to start once the US Treasury issues final guidance and the mandatory employer contribution infrastructure becomes operational. Strategy’s key decision coincides with its dual identity as both a Bitcoin-focused management firm and a software business.

Nonetheless, Strategy joins the ranks of other major employers and institutions that have pledged diverse degrees of support; the current announcement underlined a broad corporate trajectory integrating family financial wellness into benefits packages in the wake of the national efforts to promote savings and rising-generation financial literacy.
