RAWALPINDI: A nurse was killed and another wounded on Sunday in a knife attack by unknown men in Rawalpindi, police said.
The incident occurred within the remits of Morgah police station in Rawalpindi, when unknown men attacked two nurses with knife. The wounded women were immediately taken to hospital, where one of them succumbed to her injuries shortly afterwards.
The other injured was also in precarious condition, according to hospital authorities.
The perpetrators have wounded several women in the vicinity, police officials say.
