Mandy Moore reflects on 'unsuccessful' IVF journey with Taylor Goldsmith
Mandy Moore welcomed her third child with Taylor Goldsmith in September 2024
Mandy Moore is opening up about her "unsuccessful" IVF journey.
The 42-year-old singer recently appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, where she got candid about the IVF struggles she experienced before welcoming her third child.
“I had the extreme privilege of being able to get pregnant and carry both of my boys … so, I did a round of IVF and it was unsuccessful. We didn’t get any viable eggs, no embryos,” said Mandy.
“So I was like, ‘This just settles that. If this is something that’s meant to be, it will happen naturally, otherwise I am so grateful and so happy with these two guys and our family will be complete,'" added the I See The Light hitmaker.
It is worth noting that Mandy welcomed her third child, daughter Louise, with Taylor Goldsmith in September 2024.
“Lou just had to show up,” she told host Amanda Hirsch. “She showed up very, very surprisingly. We were not trying, but obviously we were open to it because of the IVF of it all.”
This Is Us alum added that news of her pregnancy with Louise was so unexpected.
“I was like, ‘OK, I am totally satisfied.’ I tried that and [I was] really grateful that I have my boys,” Mandy recalled.
Mandy is also a mother of two boys, Gus, 4, and Ozzie, 2.
