TJ Holmes drops marriage plans with Amy Robach 3 years after romance scandal

TJ Holmes and Amy Robach are finally getting married and they have a wedding date too, nearly three years after their affair sandal.

​During a recent chat on Tuesday's episode of Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast, the Good Morning America alums were asked by Giuliana Rancic if they knew they will tie the knot one day.

Holmes immediately replied, "We do."

​However, Robach seemed surprised over her partner's response and inquired, "Are you OK with that date?"

​"I had a date that I really wanted. You're just telling me now on the podcast that you're OK with that date?"

​During the interview, Holmes also revealed some more insights into their nuptials, saying, "There is a way we want to get married that we haven't revealed necessarily, but it would be very special to us."

​However, Holmes declined to reveal that wedding date, noting, "We can't say what that is. That's a big thing for us."

​This came after Robach and Holmes shared that they got engaged back in October 2025, almost three years after their controversial romance.

​"I just want to say I'm so happy," Robach expressed her excitement when they announced their engagement in one of the episodes on their joint podcast.

​In a previous chat with People, at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball 2025, the TV personalities revealed that the secret ingredient that keeps their bond strong is "friendship.”

​For those unversed, the former GMA co-host was publicly scrutinized after they were spotted in a PDA packed outing in New York City back in November 2022 during a vacation. At the time, Holmes and Robach were married to different people.

​After the scandal, the journalists were pulled off by ABC News.

​Later, Holmes filed for divorce from his then-wife, Marilee Fiebig, in December 2022, while Robach divorced her then-husband, Melrose Place star Andrew Shue, three months later.
