Shocking details emerge on D4vd's arrest on suspicion of murdering teenage girl
D4vd was taken into custody by the LAPD on Thursday on suspicion of murdering Celeste Rivas Hernández
New information has come to light regarding D4vd's arrest on suspicion of murdering a teenage girl.
An insider spilled to TMZ that the Los Angeles County District Attorney will file criminal charges against the Here With Me crooner on Monday.
As per the source, Monday is the deadline to either charge the 21-year-old crooner with a crime or release him from police custody.
For those unversed, D4vd was taken into custody by the LAPD on Thursday, April 16, on suspicion of murdering a 14-year-old, Celeste Rivas Hernández.
The singer was detained after 7 months since cops found Celeste's decomposing body in his Tesla.
“Homicide Division have arrested David Burke, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, for the murder of Celeste Rivas. Burke is being held without bail,” LAPD shared in a statement on Thursday.
Regarding the case, attorneys for D4vd told the outlet that "Let us be clear - the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death."
“There has been no indictment returned by any grand jury in this case and no criminal complaint filed. David has only been detained under suspicion. We will vigorously defend David’s innocence," the lawyers added.
