DROSH, Chitral: A school teacher accused of beating young school children brutally on Wednesday was arrested from Drosh tehsil of Chitral.
Police said a case was registered against the teacher Inam under Child Protection System Bill according to which the accused will have a minimum punishment of six years in jail.
Later the local police swung into action and arrested the teacher of the school who was reportedly a psycho patient.
The First Information Report registered against the accused has cited a video clip doing rounds on social media as evidence which was showing the teacher madly running after the young boys and girls and badly thrashing them with a stick.
This should be noted that corporal punishment is not allowed in schools under the law across the country.
This incident was recorded at a private school of Daroosh area in Chitral.
A video of the chilling incident went viral on social media, as what appears to be a secret mobile phone camera films the teacher indiscriminately beating a group of students in the school ground with a wooden stick.
In the 1 minute 36 seconds clip recorded through mobile, the school teacher was torturing students aged between eight to 10 years.
In the video, the students continue to cry and attempt to run away but the teacher does not stop the beatings.
