Alix Earle has finally revealed her mother, Alisa Earle, was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was competing on Dancing with the Stars season 34.
Taking to her official accounts on both TikTok and Instagram on Sunday, January 11, the 25-year-old American internet personality posted a video.
In the video, Alix and her sister, Ashtin Earle, can be seen with their mom in the hospital, holding her hand and doing her hair while enjoying some ice cream and drinks together.
On the clip, she wrote, "F!ck Cancer" while the caption under the post read, "Go momma! So proud and inspired by you [a heart emoji] no challenge you can’t face and come back stronger .. I love you!."
The video also had a voiceover that explained, "Strong women never give up. We might need a coffee, we might need a good cry, we might need a day in bed but we will always come back stronger."
For those unaware, a fan commented that Alix was “struggling” during her time on Dancing with the Stars season 34. Breaking her silence, she revealed that her mom, Alisa, was halfway through her treatment.
"We found out abt halfway through the season and she still showed up every week [emoji]," she wrote at that time. (sic)
It is pertinent to mention that despite facing several challenges in her personal life, Alix concluded Dancing with the Stars season 34 as runner-up with her dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
