Newly-elected CM Sindh calls on chairman PPP

KARACHI: Newly-elected Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah called on Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to express thanks for the confidence and trust posed by the Party in him by the leadership to perform as Chief Executive of the Sindh province an assured him that he would explore every possibility to manage Sindh as country’s shinning province with all his energies and efficiencies.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appreciated the outgoing Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah for his loyalty and hard-work during his entire political tenure adding that Party workers and leaders unanimously pay tribute to him for being an asset for the Party.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instructed the new Chief Minister to pay more attention for improvement of infrastructure, education, health and law and order in Sindh province.

He hoped that new Chief Minister will devise policies to reduce poverty, raise living-standard of the people and create more employment opportunities besides working for a harmonious Sindh in the wake anti-social elements and terrorists mounting attacks on the very fabric of our society.

PPP Chairman also hoped that Syed Murad Ali Shah will work to advance the people and downtrodden-friendly policies to boost agriculture economy and indigenous folk arts and traditional products to convert it into a cottage industry with both a local and international markets.

He stressed that new Chief Minister should follow the vision and imaginations of the former Prime Ministers and martyrs Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto for the province of Sindh though he has got less than two years.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah assured the PPP Chairman that he would try seek guidelines from the work done by his predecessor and father Syed Abdullah Shah and other seniors besides applying innovative ideas suitable in the contemporary period to serve the people of Sindh under PPP flag with his efficiency, commitment, creativity and hard-work to meet the expectations of the people of Sindh province.
