KARACHI: The new chief minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah vowed to serve the nation with dedicated efforts and solve the problems, being faced by the people of Sindh and Karachi.
He was speaking at the Sindh Assembly session after being elected by the House as the 27th chief minister of the province.
He thanked his Party leadership for nominating and the House for electing him as the new chief minister of Sindh.
He also paid rich tributes to the out-going chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who served the province for a long period of eight years.
Earlier, senior MPAs Qaim ali Shah, Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro of PPP and Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan and Abdul Rauf Siddiqui of MQM, speaking on the occasion, congratulated Murad Ali Shah for being elected by the House.
PTI’s MPA Khrram Sher Zaman, who contested the election against Murad Ali Shah also congratulated him.
