PESHAWAR: A bomb blast targeting a traffic police patrol on Friday morning wounded at least three, including a police officer near Charsadda.
The blast took place this morning near Charsadda where it was planted at the center of the road. According to SSP operations Abbas Majeed, one-and-a-half kilogram of explosive material was used in the bomb. The blast was caused by a time device carrying one-and-a-half kilogram of explosive material and the target of the blast were the traffic police, Abbas added.
The injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital for medical treatment. Security alerts have been ordered due to Friday prayers.
