LAHORE: A father and his two children, which included his daughter and son, were killed due to an electric shock on Friday morning.
According to rescue officials, the tragic accident took place when an eleven year-old girl in Lahore's Shahdara area received an electric shock when she came into contact with electric wires. The girl was reportedly trying to shift a charpai down from the roof of the house when she received the electric shock.
Two other members of her family tried to rescue her and also got electrocuted in the process. Sources disclosed that among the deceased were 50 year-old Sharif, 22 year-old Ashfaq and 11 year-old lady Muqaddas.
48 year-old Gulzara Bibi was severely injured in the incident as well and was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
